Earring Gray Murano Glass Lampwork Foil Bead and Sterling Silver Findings

These glass and silver earrings are made in the authentic Murano style. Italian artisans create them by using 'gray blue' molten glass and silver foil leaf wrapped around a bead-forming mandrill and fired with a torch until the bead is complete. The beads are then cooled and fired a second time at low heat to set the glass and provide strength and durability. Each Murano bead is unique. The earrings are finished with 925 sterling silver ear wires. They measure 1 .5 inches long including the ear wire with a medium weight feel to them. ​The individual Murano glass beads measure approximately .5 inch in diameter.
